MFS’s Forrest Optiz says, “This was a fun job for us for a customer of ours on the coast of Texas. He wanted to be able to keep his Yeti bucket on the boat for muddy anchors, cut bait, dirty flats boots and occasionally fly line.
The uses for a 5 gallon bucket are endless.
However the bucket didn’t have a “place” on his skiff, it would slide and tumble while being in the way while fishing. This design allows him to sit his bucket inside of the cradle between the legs of his poling platform. The bucket can not come out on its own but can be easily removed when needed. He also went with a gloss black casting platform to match. (Design Note: Seadek to be added to the top of the aluminum plate ).”
