Skiff Life began as a collection of skinny water fishermen who used the popular NesTides mobile tide application, swapped stories (and a few lies) and experiences fishing “skinny” via an email group.
This group of fishing enthusiasts quickly grew to include representation from all parts of the United States; Washington State to California, New York, New England on down the East Coast to Virginia, Carolinas, Georgia, Florida and the Gulf of Mexico states.
A member set us up with a website and Facebook page so we could get more involved in the fun. The only requirement? SKINNY WATER FISHING RELATED ONLY!
So there you have it, a growing group of shallow water fishermen who welcome new fishermen everyday who share our passion. No corporate suits, just a collection of fishing fanatics who’ve discovered that spending time in the outdoors on shallow water is the key to a better life while escaping the rigors of the modern world.
