Kaitlin Alyse says: We outdid ourselves with this one. Very slow night for gators. After every spot light and head lamp we had died, we still managed to pull this 7′ 8″ good eater gator. Using the flashlight on my iPhone 6 we spotted her and snatched her up. She wasn’t hooked well. Come to find out the hook had been cut free from the line and only thing holding her was she wrapped herself too tight in the fishing line. The second line spear broke off seconds after it went in. Everything says we shouldn’t have caught this gator but we did. Good team work, staying calm, and not rushing is always key. #gatorgirl #iphone6 #whatgetsyououtdoors #huntingstories #skifflife #teamwork #lovetohunt #fillingtags #357magnum @hunterboots @beavertailskiffs @hellsbayboatworks

Damn that’s unfortunate. I hope you guys can use a majority of it for something useful. Not just the tail and skin.

I’m sorry you feel it’s unfortunate @_invalid_username aka Sean that has known me since I was five. I will tell you the only thing I didn’t use was the feet and the gut sack. You are welcome to help me find a use for that portion I did not use. Everything else feeds my family all through the year. Completely organic and as humane as taking the life from an animal can be. We can grab coffee if you ever want to discuss.
