The Pathfinder 15T skiff has developed a cult following in the skiff world and earned a great deal of respect in regards to it’s simplicity and functionality. The combination of floating skinny even when under a full load and it’s initial attractive price has guaranteed these boats to see multiple owners and generations of outdoorsmen. This is how our story begins with talented marine artist, Chris White. Chris is an avid fisherman and skiff enthusiast with a unique background that enhances his artistic ability and knowledge of the inner-workings of all things “skiff”.
Chris White introduces his Pathfinder Skiff
The skiff is set up to fish the back water creeks and mangroves of Florida. I travel up and down the east coast to fish for Redfish and Trout. I am the third owner of the boat, the original owner purchased 2 of them new from Pathfinder. One for himself and one for his son, they ended up fishing out of one of them and this one lived in their barn for years… Untouched.
I designed everything on the boat myself and did the installs as well. I partnered with Townsend Welding to complete the aluminum work, Kennedy Tie Down Products to hold everything down, Dridek to keep my hatches nice and clean Reflex Marine Traction to keep it quiet and comfy underfoot. Outside of creating dreamboats and working retail, I am a marine artist and enjoy the outdoors.
Here is all of the info on the boat.

Meet Chris White
Outside of being consistently nagged for being a left handed fisherman (and yes; fishing one time, 22yrs ago with a reel upside down) I still find a way to chase fish in the creeks and flood-grass of NE Florida. I’ve even learned to swap my reel handle and have picked up fly fishing when I’m not creating new art.
I grew up on the Savannahs Preserve chasing bass, fishing the Indian River Lagoon and surfing the Treasure Coast with some of the best friends you could ever ask for. I’ve chased fish offshore at Walkers Cay and currently chase my kids around NE Florida, where I reside with my amazing wife.
In my earlier years, I attended the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, I was a Test Pilot for Evinrude & Johnson Motors (OMC) and rigged boats for a boat builder based out of Ft. Pierce, Fl. I am still rigging boats in my garage but have toned down the driving since my test pilot days.
I love spending time in my current skiff, a 99’ Pathfinder 15T, with a 40hp Tiller.
I’ve been creative for as long as I can remember; building, drawing, sketching and made the decision a few years ago to merge my two passions together Fishing and Art. I’ll be pretty honest, it keeps my free time focused on illustrating, painting and sketching. A win, win if you ask me!
This couldn’t go without notice, so I must give a huge thanks to my Wife and kids, my friends and especially Skifflife.com for this partnership. See you on the water soon!!!
Congrats to Chris on his recent feature on Florida Sportsman’s Project Dreamboat. View the video here:
