This room was badly damaged by hurricane Harvey. The ceiling caved in. The walls were shredded. This oil painting, done by my Aunt Leslie, had 180mph drywall vomited all over it. We thought it was Harvey-ruined like most personal belongings in the house, but we kept it in hopes it could be saved. Thanks to #BlueSkiesFraming in Austin, TX the painting was entirely repaired and revitalized.

I’ve busted my ass the past 8 months, burning the midnight oil after hours from my day job, spending a lot of time repairing and renovating this place. -also had a lot of help and support from my wife, friends, family, the fly fishing community, and the town of Rockport as a whole. Rockport can’t do this solo and I want to thank everyone who has helped. You know who you are. We love and appreciate y’all. This town and the #BlueLagoonFlyLodgeRockport are looking better by the second! ??? The dream is host you all here, give a taste of Florida and Colorado inspired-Texas culinary art, and share a Texas sized experience in hopes you return in future years. The Texas coast is truly some of the finest sight-fishing I’ve ever experienced on planet earth, and it needs to be witnessed, appreciated, respected, and most importantly – conserved by all of us.
