Whiskey River Chonicle says: ?Thankful!? .

I was thankful for this red over the last weekend. It was a long day fishing and we caught several spotted sea trout but this was a wonderful bonus to the day. I usually practice catch and release but this trip was about putting food on the table for my family. I also believe that It’s important to teach my kids where food comes from. Because red fish and spotted sea trout are game fish you can not buy them at a market, grocery store, or at a restaurant. All of those places have to purchase fish from a farm in order to serve to the public. The only way to get actual fresh caught gulf reds and trout is to go out and get it yourself. On that note, please respect your slot sizes/limits set forth by @texasparkswildlife and let the larger fish go so I can come back to catch them on the fly. ? I am very thankful to @dramosghio for inviting me on this harvest, to @captainjoeultimateflatsfishing for putting us on the fish and I look forward to serving it at Thanksgiving this year. ?

@whiskeyriverchronicle attaboy! Beautiful fish? I totally agree with your way of thinking! I want my kids to know that we are healthier by eating food we hunt and catch ourselves than buying it from town! Keep it up brother?
