Caught one off our seawall on Myakka R. just So. of 41 Bridge near River Rd. Using old rod n reel. Left it 20mins w/mullet on it. Came back & thought had snagged concrete block. Just sat on bottom for a bit. Quick pic & back he went. For this Minnesota grown walleye fisherwoman this catch turned me on to FL fishing 10yrs ago. I’m addicted.???

You don’t pull them out of the water so their weight doesn’t collapse their organs. But when they’re small like that, it won’t hurt them. The same thing with Tarpon, you shouldn’t pull them out of the water when they’re big.
